Wine Tastings - a unique experience

The cellar door is set amongst the vines in the luxurious 5 star Takatu Lodge. Whole walls of glass optimise spectacular views of the vineyard, the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

An opportunity to taste world class wines on the very spot where the wines are created.

Tasting includes a knowledgeable talk from one of the proprietors about all aspects of winegrowing, especially that unique to Takatu.

A tasting is a generous pour in elegant stemware with matching food in a stunning setting

Charges for a private wine tasting: $10.00-$15.00 per glass and $15.00 per person for platter to match the wine, a celebration of local and seasonal produce. (Minimum number 4)

Make an appointment with a group of friends to taste older vintage wine selected from our aged library stock, not available elsewhere (P.O.A. minimum number 8).
